Ok, so let’s get this blog rolling with the first post !
I love this photo ! I found it a while back and I think it is a good and humourous way to illustrate how foolish it is to think that we came from nothing !
Recently I visited Belfast Zoo, and the more you walk around the elephants, the giraffes, the zebras, the more you are amazed at God’s great creation. Of course, some have likened me more to the chimps than anything else, but we won’t go there !
Which reminds me of the words of the song……..
“Come down, come down, out of your family tree-
Don’t listen to those Darwinites preach their philosophy !

And let those baboons be !

I was flicking through a book yesterday, called, “The Dawkins Letters – Challenging Atheist Myths,” written by David Robertson. His book was written in reply to another book by an atheist, (called Richard Dawkins).
Robertson poses the question as to why atheists feel compelled to write books and spue out their anger against someone whom they believe does not even exist ! He continues (tongue-in-cheek) that they don’t believe in the tooth fairy, but yet they don’t feel it necessary to write a book about it !
God calls such people fools.
” The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God.” Psalm 14:1)
If you are an atheist, and happen to be reading this blog, I don’t say these things to make fun of you. I am just reasoning out loud on my blog !
But I would say to you to take a look at yourself – at the the way God has made you. Think about the complex way your body works…the blood, the cells, the nervous system, the brain, the heart………then take a look at the creation around you…….look up at the stars tonight……and ask yourself the question……”what if I am wrong after all ?”
You know, you wouldn’t be the first man (or woman) to find that out !
